No judgment here. Just real talk about pricing, what you’re actually paying for, and why it matters more than you might think.

Okay, let’s talk about the thing nobody really wants to talk about.
Money.
Specifically, how much does it actually cost to get senior photos done in Orlando or Winter Garden, Florida?
Because I know you’ve been Googling this at some point, probably late at night, trying to figure out what’s a reasonable investment and what’s absolutely unhinged. And I want to give you a real, honest answer, as a photographer AND as a mom who has five kids and completely understands that money doesn’t grow on palm trees down here.
So here we go.
First, The Real Range
Senior photography pricing in Central Florida varies more than Florida weather. (And if you know, you know.)
Here’s an honest look at what you’ll generally find:
These sessions exist and they serve a purpose. Quick shoot, one location, digital files delivered. For families on a tight budget who just need something, this is a real option and there’s value here.
The tradeoff is usually a faster, simpler experience with less personalization and lighter editing which enables these photographers to take on more clients more quickly.
This is where you start getting more … more locations, more outfit changes, more editing time. Most photographers in the Orlando and Winter Garden area fall somewhere in this range.
You’ll likely get a beautiful gallery of images and a photographer who genuinely cares and is wonderful.
A solid choice for families who want more than the basics.
This is where Petal and Stone lives and I want to explain why, because I think it matters.

Can I be honest for a second?
When you invest at this level, you’re not just paying for someone to point a camera at your daughter for an hour. You’re paying for something that takes days to complete.
Every single image I deliver is hand-edited. Not filtered. Not “preset and done.” We’re talking dodging and burning for depth, skin retouching that looks like skin, eyes brightened, smiles perfected, distractions removed, every little piece of trash on the ground, every crack in the sidewalk, gone. I want each photo to feel like a painting. Like art. Because that’s what I believe it should be.
And then there’s the experience itself ,the planning, the emergency kit I bring to every single session (bobby pins, oil blotting sheets, a hair tie when you desperately need one mid-outfit-change …yes, this has happened, yes it saved the day), the music, the direction, the showing up fully prepared so your daughter can just be.
That all takes time. A lot of it.
And as a mom of five, I know exactly how precious time is …mine and yours.
How Much Does Petal and Stone Cost?
My collections start at $1,000 and go up from there depending on what’s the right fit for your family, from a beautiful matted print box all the way up to a full heirloom album and statement wall art. Every single one includes printed artwork because that’s how I serve my clients.
Is This A Lot of Money? Yes.
I’m a mom. I get it. I really, truly get it.
This is not pocket change. I’m not going to sit here and pretend otherwise.
But here’s what I keep thinking about:
Prom.
We spend hundreds ,sometimes over a thousand dollars, on a dress that gets worn once. Then there’s the hair, the makeup, the tickets, the dinner, the limo, the whole production. And we do it because prom feels like a moment. A memory. Something worth celebrating.
Senior photos are that same moment, except instead of a memory that lives only in your head and a few blurry phone pics from the parking lot, you get something you can actually hold onto.
I think about my daughter, she’s going to be a senior, and I want her babies to look at her senior photos someday. I want her to be able to say “look at grandma, she was a baddie.” (Because she will be. Obviously.)
I didn’t have that. My house burned when I was young and we lost a lot of things, including photos. So I know firsthand what it means when those images are just… gone.
That’s why I do this the way I do.
Not because prints are trendy. Not because I’m trying to upsell you. But because I genuinely believe that what feels normal today becomes the thing you miss someday. And I want your family to have something real to hold onto when someday gets here.
So Is Petal and Stone Right For You?
Maybe! Maybe not! And both are genuinely okay.
But if you want your daughter to feel completely taken care of from the moment you reach out to the moment you open that print box …if you want photos that feel less like snapshots and more like art… if you want to invest in something your family will treasure for generations?
I would be so honored to be your photographer.
I don’t take it lightly when a family chooses me. Not even a little bit. The trust you place in me when you book a session is something I carry with me to every single shoot. You’re handing me one of the most fleeting moments of your daughter’s life and saying “do something beautiful with this.”
I will. I promise.
